The UIS Party Planning Committee is co-ordinating an afternoon with plenty of food and fun.
You'll enjoy a two-course Christmas lunch with your colleagues, followed by optional entertainment and games!
Order of Service
13:00 Arrivals
13:20 Guests to be seated
13:30 Welcome speech and lunch served
14:45 Coffee, tea and optional entertainment
15:15 Socialise with colleagues at the College bar
17:00 For partygoers, continue at a local pub
Drinks
There will be a soft drinks reception on arrival. Bottles of wine, larger and soft drinks will be available to purchase at the bar in the dining hall.
Food choices
Main course
- Norfolk roast turkey with cranberry stuffing, pigs in blankets and pan jus
- Feather blade steak with red currant cabbage and charred onions petals
- Chestnut crusted cod loin with courgette spaghetti
- Courgette mille-feuille with poached quail’s egg (vegetarian)
- Winter vegetables and cranberry filled filo roll served with gravy (vegan)
Served with a selection of festive vegetables and potato
Dessert
- Christmas pudding with seasonal ice-cream/ Christmas pudding with vanilla sauce (vegan)
- Caramel chocolate fondant with ice-cream
- Clementine rum and gingerbread trifle
Served with Fair Trade coffee or tea and mince pies.
